Welcome!   In the Estonian language „LEVATEK“ is the abbreviation of The Southern Estonia Antique

Technology Club. It isone of the earliest of such organizations in the republic and in terms of the number of

members one of the largest. Club members have a common interest in preserving all kinds of old technology

which has served us well and deserves respect. Mostly the machines are moving vehicles such as bicycles,

motorcycles, trucks (lorries), cars, buses, and even world war two tanks. Thanks to the skill and persistance

of our members many restorations have given new life to a part of our history.

The antique vehicle registration plate 

Club constitution: The club is registered as a not-for-profit co-op at the County Court of Tartu and the constitution

was accepted at the general meeting of club members on 14 March 2007.    

 List of members: Members are listed by first name, surname,  telephone number , and e-mail address. 

The antique vehicle registration plate: The first line of this subject gives the law that provides this form of vehicle

registration. This is entirely in the Estonian language and no need has been found to translate it into English.

The second line of this subject gives an extensive explanation of the law again only in the Estonian language.

Finally there is a list of experts who are qualified to certify that the vehicle meets the legal requirements for issue

of the antique vehicle registration plate.

The Antique Technology Club in the town of Võru is called „VÄNT“ which in translation means „CRANK“.

The site is entirely in the Estonian language but a click on the word GALERII gets a lot of pictures no matter

which title of event is selected.

The Estonian Antique Motorcycle Club: Has no English language version but a click on the word „GALERII“

gets results.

Valeri Kirs is the owner of a private collection. The best pictures are found by a click on the words just below

the word „ERAHOBIKLUBI“. After that just scroll down.

The Union of Estonian Antique Vehicle Clubs:  After a click on the address  www.unic.ee, click on the word

„GALERII“. Then click on any desired rectangle on the screen and scroll down until pictures appear.

The club called UNIC: This gets the same results as the above.

The Virtual Antique Technology Club:  The site is entirely Estonian and one needs a password but one can click

on the word „PILDIALBUM“. Click on any picture to see more and then use the BACK button at top left of

the screen. 

The Virtual Antique Technology Museum:  The site is entirely Estonian but has a lot of pictures. The home page is an introduction (Tutvustus). Other selections are: uudised = news ; auto = cars ; moto = motorcycles ;

velo = bicycles ; kontakt = contact .

The Creative Society at Kuusalu Automotive Centre: An entirely Estonian site. Tehnika = a list of what we have

Teeme = a description of restoration projects and tours in the Estonian language but if you scroll down to the

pictures one click on a picture enlarges it. Each description starts from a click on the title. Direct access to a lot

of pictures taken during The Grand Tour of Estonia in 2010 is at the address :
